There aren't many fish shops in Ireland where a chef prepares your fish. Expertly deboning and skinning fish right in front of you it is obvious Connie brings a wealth of experience to her role as manager in Ali's Fish Market Barna. Receiving suggestions on types of fish to try and useful tips on how to cook them, makes visiting this fish mongers more of an experience than a chore.
Connie was working in O'Grady's restaurant in Barna as a sous chef when she was asked to run the shop for a week or two, seven years later and she is still there! While she misses the banter of the kitchen Connie loves food and she prepares the fish as if she was going to cook it herself. Connie loves being outdoors and trying out new food in local restaurants.
